Hi Everyone

I just wanted to share a little personal news-in 10 days I'll be marrying my best friend :D

I thought I'd be nervous as a cat right about now, but it feels like the most natural thing in the world, even though I sort of surprised myself by not running in the opposite direction (as usual) when he started talking about marriage. I guess that alone proves he's the right one for me :)

Our wedding will be a small, intimate one, attended by about 20 close friends and family members, on June 22.

I wasn't real big on the "June Bride" thing, but that's not the reason we chose that day. On June 22, 2002, I was in a motorcycle accident that nearly killed me. My soon to be husband was riding his bike along with me, and he saved my life. He said he was never so frightened as he was on that day, because he thought he had lost me forever. He thought that would be the perfect day to say our vows-together forever. Or, as we lovingly refer to it-"Sentenced To Life-No Chance For Parole" ;)

If there were a such thing as reincarnation, I'd want to come back as me, loving him.

Wow, the wedding was amazing!! The thing I'll never forget was the look of utter tenderness and love on my new husband's face as I said my vows to him-my husband-God, I love saying that!:D

He'll be waking up soon and it's beautiful outside-we'll be getting the Harley out and seeing where it takes us. I so love this! Thank you, everyone, for your well wishes, and for sharing this with me!

Congratulations! I am so excited for you. I pray that all goes well and that you and your husband will grow together. The first year is the hardest, just remember your vows, your patience and how you feel at this very moment. Then little fights become just that little. Share, communicate and respect each other. AND learn to let go of things- my husband and I take turns on who wins fights. I love my husband very much and he gave me the best gift ever and that was my son.
