Hello Everyone,
I've been having some stuff going on at home, a sick kid, a husband out of work and liking it, me, I'm depressed out of my socks I'm trying to make a go out of my new web sites, but I'm haveing some trouble figuring out the marking & advertizeing stuff. Now, that hubby is getting very confortble at home on the farm thinking about all the ways a guy could make money grow on trees. I'm looking at haveing to find a full time job to make up what he is not bring home any more. With a farm, a kid, horses, and a small herd of bison, my lifes dream all at risk, what else can I do. Bummer:( .
I don't mean to be a drag. I guess I'm just looking for some advice or tutoring in this on-line web store stuff, that you can trust, & not cost to much were running a pretty thin buget. Mostly I just needed to get a few things off my chest.
Bison update: This spring we had a bumper crop of calves, fourteen out of a possiable fifteen, not bad, they all came in a two and a half week time period. We were running prefectly even six bull (male) calves & six heifer (female) calves until the very last day went the last two cows had two bull calves about four hours apart. The newbees' as I call them are all doing great they are out on pasture now, and all that fresh grass is makeing them spunky. Every evening the get to running around, it's soooo cute, and when ever they do I hear the mothers cow just gunting & grunting at them like us telling them to be carefull, slow down, your going to brake your neck, and they little baby bison just keep rip taring around like it is so much fun to be a baby buffalo. Sound familiar, you yell they go right on with the fun.
Thanks for letting me bend all those ears out there, I feel better.;)

Kooklestoo,

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles.

I know how it feels to have a husband out of work - it can be quite difficult. Just hang in there....as the song goes, "this too will pass". One good thing about difficult times is that it can't last forever! Something has to change and it always does. And like a good friend always says to me when I'm going through a tough time, "don't ask why, ask what". In other word, what can you do/learn/gain from this difficult situation....how can you turn your lemons into lemonade?

As for your internet business, I've started several successful internet businesses - the newest one is in my signature, and although I'm no expert, I'll be glad to share with you what little I've learned.

So please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I'll be happy to try to answer them for you and I'm sure everone else will try to do the same.

And as my uncle used to tell me...."keep your chin up!" :)

Warm regards,

Summer

Hi. Sorry you're having a tough time. The internet marketing is tough-- it takes a long time to get a good site going-- and unfortunately, there are no money trees. :( All is not lost though! You just have to keep trying new things. When something isn't working, make changes, try new things.

I saw that you posted two websites in the Cool Sites forum. Are those the two you're trying to market? Do you have any others?

Hi Kooklestoo. I hope things are looking up for you.

I was just introduced to the coolest thing this week -- BEEFALO! You are probably well familiar with it. It is a cross between buffalo and bovine (cow, of course) and has the best of both. They look more like cows and take many of the healthy features of bison meat -- very lean and healthy. I'm going to write about it for one of my papers (I'm a freelance newspaper writer) in the next few days.

This might be a rather dumb question, but what do you do with your buffalo? We should discuss this more. The whole beefalo thing is just fascinating.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I too was in a similar situation. Just gave birth to our second child and we both decided that I should stay home with the kids. Great right? Well, when the baby was about 2 months old, my husband was 'laid off' of his job.

This might not make any sense to you right now, but I believe that everything happens for a reason. Hang in there.

The long and the short of my story is that he found a job, and my job moved out of state so I'm trying to establish a work at home business too. That's why I created my website.

If I can be of any help with you and your website. I'd be happy to lend a hand.

Sorry to hear you are having such a rough time. I personally don't think that I could go back to having a full time job. Why don't you try working from home. There are a lot of good on-line business.

I am in the same fix. I got hurt on the job with my wife is a student the only income coming in the house is from my sites. But I don't let that get me down and you shouldn't let it bring you down. Have a talk with your husband tell him how you feel. And that you need help that he can't live the easy life. http://www.rbgiftshop.vstoremarket.com/;)

A husband that is not working it always hard on the family. One thing you could do is have the kids find part time jobs to help cover their own expenses. If your husband is having a hard time finding a job then have him check listings on the internet. Sorry and good luck!
