has anyone had any experience with MomsWIN? or Melaleuca?
I'm thinking about it, but kinda think I might just loose a bunch of money in the long run, anyone? Experiences?

thanks

Hello !

Melaleuca offers very good products. I have a friend who enroled me last spring and I tried a lot of their products. But, they are a little expensive and since I was not very good at selling the gig to people, I got out of it. But my friend is still running her little business and it is growing and growing.

You just have to believe in what you sell. As an example, my friend is using every product that Melaleuca has to offer. Her home is completely "melaleuca" !

Good luck !

thanks for the info, I think I'm going to give it a shot, I mean it can't hurt right? (Just as long as I break even every month on advertiseing & all the stuff I have to buy, I'll be ok)

thanks :D

Whoah! I wish you would explain why it was a waste of $ for you....I have been with a different team of people creating businesses with Melaleuca and I cannot say enough great things about my experience, or about my success...both personal and financial. It sounds like there was an obvious mis-match there. It is not for everybody (what is?), but everybody should take the time to make that decision for themselves. I am so sorry you had a negative experience but please don't rob other people of the chance to learn if it is a vehicle of success for them.

Also, I have never been forced to buy advertising, and we don't have to carry inventory...there are thousands of free ways to advertise...didn't you have a mentor to guide you? I really feel bad that your experience was so poor...and I apologize for that.

I do truly love it and would never leave this business or team. For me this is what it means to love what you do and to have a passion to truly affect others lives in profoundly positive ways. I hope you find what it is that gives you that joy...Sincerely...MommaBarb

I'm glad your experience has been good, & I had no trouble with Melaleuca itself, but I will be sure to warn people away from momswin...I got zero support, zero contact....nada. Once I finally was able to contact someone to get my "free website" set up...it was there for all of a month before vanishing without a trace, and no explanation why. I came to find out later that my entire upline had transfered to a different "business" than momswin, without so much as an email.

Barb, I really don't see how my posting a personal experience with a business venture will "rob" anyone of anything, these are my personal thoughts on the subject, just as I am sure you have your own thoughts & experiences.

It is multi-level marketing, I've seen it before, tried it before, the people at the top get rich, the people at the bottom don't....I shelled out 60 bucks a month for things I could buy at Wal-Mart for $10....I am poor, everyone I know is poor. None of my friends want to spend $13.00 on shampoo, so if by mis-match you mean "I suck at selling over-priced stuff to people I may or may not know" then yes, that would be true.

Please note before getting upset with me! These are my thoughts. I'm sure some of you will disagree, perhaps many of you. I have no desire to start a giant "I love momswin" war on this board. I simply wanted to follow up my initial post with the result of my experience with this "home business" opportunity.

There has been one side presented, and the flip side has also been presented in this thread....people are still quite free to make up their own minds....

 (what a horribly long post I just made...)

I am so glad to have heard from you so quickly...and, I was very worried that the tone of my post might sound harsh, when in fact, it was meant to be simply informative. I just really feel bad when someone has a bad experience with something I have grown so proud of my partnership with. Also, I certainly didn't mean to insult you with my comment about a mis-match. Truly, I meant no harm there. I should also say that I was approached about a this business 3 times - by 3 people with dramatically different personalities and agendas - before I was approached by someone who really made it make sense to me. That person has been there for me every single day for the last 12 months with amazing ongoing support and training...which, you obviously did not receive...you probably should have contacted the company directly with a complaint...you still can...an experience like yours gives us all a blemish! I hope you took advantage of the money back guarantee...if not...let me know and maybe I can help there...

I do totally agree with your opinion, because it is reflective of the experience you personally had. I am so sorry if my post came off with the wrong tone...It is such a bummer for you...I do wish you the very best of luck as you continue your search. There is no doubt in my mind that you are a person who will create your own success when you find what it is that feeds your passion! I look forward to that post with great anticipation and be here to celebrate!

Very best wishes!
Barb

Hi Jenn,

Just thought I'd follow up...

Have you found something else that you are doing that's working for you?

:)

Hi - I tried the MomsWIN/Maleleuca thing. Most of the products really ARE great. They say you dont have to sell anything, but really you DO - you have to tell whoever you are talking with about the products in order to get them to want the product - that to me is selling. While I was involved, I had made so many calls, and my phone bill was higher than what I made (I think the most I made was $7!) If you are good at sales, I would definitely give it a try. The products are really worth getting out there; otherwise, I wouldn't waste my time or money!

I checked this one out myself but after I enrolled I decided I didn't really want to do the business. I just wanted to do something in my field and something that absolutely didn't involve me depending on anyone purchasing anything from me, through me, etc. I have continued using the products, which I truly rant and rave about. The quality is superior and everything lasts a long time. Plus it keeps me out of Wal-Mart all the time!

Could there have been a problem with the payment? Has your order been paid for?
