One thing I have done is looked through the help wanted ads in the paper. If there was a position offered that I thought could be filled by a virtual assistant such as myself, I just sent off a letter detailing the benefits of hiring a va instead of an employee. Most of the time I never heard anything back, but a few times I did. :)
