I'm not really back online (just faking it). A friend will stop by, tomorrow, and she'll diagnose my RAM problem. I'm very good with software -- but not hardware. :? All thumbs. But my friend will try to teach me. (Brave friend.) Meanwhile, I'll use Steve's computer, when he doesn't need it -- like right now! :D

Listen - I wanted to mention to you that I am intending to add a section to the Freelancemom Teatime page this coming week to promote projects like this that members (and reciprocal linkers) are involved with.

How's the ram problem coming along?
Dell never gave us all the RAM that we paid for! Imagine my shock, when my friend opened the case and we saw just one 128Meg chip in there. :shock: I had to pick up my jaw, from the floor. I know that Dell has an awful reputation for this kind of stuff, but you never expect it to happen to yourself.

Though, this still doesn't explain why I'm getting the message on boot-up. My friend couldn't see anything overtly wrong with the computer, so I'm using it again (for now, at least). :?
