Hello everyone, it was great to find this site, it's just what I was looking for!
My name is Lauren, My Business is called The Hidden Helper. I currently only work with one client, a book publishing firm, doing general transcription, internet research, travel arrangements, data entry, etc., but the bulk of my work is in writing press releases, ghostwriting magazine articles, editing and proofreading.
I've been in business since February 2003. Previous to this I was a stay at home mom. I have two children, Kyle (4) and Drew (2). Before having Kyle I was a geriatric social worker for 6 years, prior to that I worked in the PR department of a Fortune 500 company. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications/Journalism and am enjoying using it again.
Right now I work part time, but as my children grow I want to increase the number of hours I work and gain more clients.
