I have a rough draft of my logo worked up.

You'll have to forgive me - it was done at work in paint/microsoft picture manager. Haha

It's my side of the Nashville skyline, the name of the site, and a small bouquet of ballooons.

Any suggestions of a free trial I could download to make that logo cleaner?

I haven't personally tried either, but Inkscape and GIMP could be good fits for your needs. Inkscape (http://www.inkscape.org/) is a free open source illustration in the vein of Adobe Illustrator and should be ideal for creating logos. GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) is a raster-graphics program along the lines of Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and would good for general graphics work.
