Ladies, I think this definitely falls under the "shooting the breeze" category.... If your little ones (or their friends) are between the ages 6 and 17 and do charity work in their communities, you can nominate them as a 'mini hero' with a short essay. Celeb judges--including Olympic sisters Emily and Sarah Hughes, Chicago Cubs Kerry Wood and a ton of other famous folks read the essays. Prizes include $2500 for the winner and $2500 for their favorite charity (not bad)! Info's here--I thought it was a neat way to spotlight kids doing positive things! www.entenmannsminiheroes.com
