There are a few blogging communities where you can make a little money for your writing:
www.writingup.com
www.bloggerparty.com
www.momandpopblog.com
As far as I know they are all Adsense supported. You sign up for an account with Google Adsense and then put the ads on your blog. A lot easier said than done that is. Anyway, when people click on the ads you get paid a few cents or so depending on the ad.
It's not an income by any means but a way to get paid a little for jotting down your thoughts. What's not to love about that? Only don't click on the ads in your own blog or Google will kick you out of the program. Don't ask me how I know that.
I post a little about blogging in my blog at Writing Up (www.writingup.com/blog/smbwallace) and plan to start one at Mom and Pop Blog, which is for family-related topics. I don't have one at Blogger Party, but I do read there as well as at the other two places.
