Does anyone own or use a Tablet for graphic design? I'm looking to purchase one, but know absolutely nothing about them.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Jennifer
Hi Jennifer,
I use a Wacom and really love it. I haven't even begun to use it to it's full potential.

Really? Great! Where did you buy it? Are they very expensive?

Hi again Lori,
Do you use the Wacom Intuos? Also, what size do you use? Do you think it is too big or too little? I've never used anything like this before, so I don't want to make any mistakes when purchasing it. Any input would be sooo valuable to me! Are they compatible with any design software... I use Corel Draw and Corel Photo Paint.
Thanks you!!!! Thank you!!!!!!

I love my Wacom Intuos2 ... I've got the 6x9, and I'm happy that I upgraded it from the smaller, because it's the perfect size for me working. And it makes my life so much easier versus having to scan in my sketches and tracing over them in Illustrator.

Do you know what the difference is between the Intuos and the Graphire?
Thanks so much!

Sensitivity is the biggest difference that I've noticed. I had a Graphire to begin with, and while you can't get them in as many sizes as the Intuos, the biggest thing for me was how sensitive the Intuos could be. Considering my preferred media for regular art is pencil, this was a wonderful thing.
