Money Saver?

With Work and a family, how does anyone find time to go to the store?!?!?!
Personally, at the end of a long say I'm just too tired to do anything, much less go shopping
Has anyone else here tired Von's/Safeway's Home Delivery yet???

I do a major shopping only once a month or so. Then I stop and pick up a few items during the week. This is what works for me.

I hear you! I hate shopping and all the meal prep issues. I would like to try some of those services, but I don't believe any are offered near me. This is one issue I really struggle with as you do.

I can understand each person here. It is just a pain sometimes to find time for my home business and taking care of the children. My favorite times are the weekends where the kids are away and I can spend a ton of time making money from my online business. Good luck to all! :wave:

I too can relate to each of you. I tried getting my husband to do the grocery shopping on his way home. But he never gets the right things, and I find better deals. He just buys what is front of him!

Aw....sending hubbies to do grocery shopping. Such a nice theory isn't it? Or, they're hungry at the time so they buy all the junk food that sounds good at the moment.

That is SO my husband! I check the receipt everytime, and 10/10 times there is a candy bar on the very end!

I wonder why it is that men don't buy the right thing? It's so darn common. We want blue, they buy green. We want round, they buy oval. They get close, but it just never never seems to be exactly what we had wanted.

Well, since my husband is the stay at home mom (MAN ON MISSION), he would probably have the same gripes as you guys....except about me! :lol9:

I have a technique like Audrey..

I go every 3 weeks, and then occasionally have to pop down to the store during the week to get small things, but generally I can keep myself stocked up for 3 weeks... Mind you I only have my son and myself to feed...
