I saw this in the September 2008 Woman's Day magazine and thought I'd share:

You can get cash for your books and they pay the postage. Go to www.cash4books.net and register. Type in the ISBN number for your book(s) and complete the transaction. They will send you a check or post payment to your PayPal account.

I tried it this morning and I got $2.53 for 2 books. While not a lot of money, they do pay for the postage and I clear out 2 books. And I made more than I would if I tried to sell them at a yard sale.

Have fun!

I wonder if the books I read are popular. The site didn't want them yet I know they have sold millions of copies. I wonder if lots of us want to sell them.

The two books they took of mine were hardcover. Two other hardcover books they didn't want and they didn't want my paperback either.

I would guess that one determining factor would be their inventory and the topic of current public interest.

The books they took of mine were a GI Diet book and a Louise Haye book on Healing Your Life (metaphysical book that was a gift and never read LOL!!)

Most of my books are fiction paperback. It's ok, it was worth trying.

I'll try too, even though I have paperback. That Louice Hay book is very popular, that's probably why they took it. Do they take Children's books? I'll go check it out:)
