My target market is ayone who loves to cook. As far as my business model, I using Adsense, Affiliate links and some ecookbooks that i am selling for $1 that I have resale rights to. Once I get about 250 or so recipes, I will add an ebook containind all of the recipes on the site with pictures that you will be able to download for a donation of $10. It's has paid for itself and is beginning to turn a profit now. My visitor count is steadily increasing so I'm pretty excited!

I think it looks pretty good for not knowing much about html! :D

I think you've done a great job here! The content is wonderful and that is what is most important.

I do have 2 suggestions for you:

Make the Google search button smaller and move it to the top right hand corner if you can (this is where people expect to see it)

I'd also move the Digg button down to the bottom, after the content

Good luck to you!

Great job on the site! I like the header a lot. You might consider having something down the right hand side, or a different color background so the white site page doesn't bleed off into the white screen background. The buttons down the left side are attractive but I found them hard to read and there are an awful lot of them! Any chance you could put some of the less-frequently-clicked ones (privacy policy etc) down in the footer?

There's an area just below the left side buttons which looks odd in Firefox - the xml/rss/google bookmarks etc buttons sit over a partly red, partly white striped area which makes them hard to read, the Adsense block below covers up the red stripe completely, then it reappears again below. Is it supposed to be like that?

Consider adding "recipes" to your page title (which currently says "Southern Cooking Like Only Mama Can!"). You could say something like "Southern Cooking Like Only Mama Can - recipes and tips for soul and comfort food"
