Me - well I guess I was a SAHM but before that I worked in the social work field. Had several jobs - CPS caseworker (hated that one), worked at a suicide hotline, and taught head start.

Most of my career was with the federal government. I started as a seafood inspector in the field and moved up the ranks. I am proud to say I ended my career with them (budget cuts eliminated my branch) working to improve seafood trade for third world countries. Believe it or not, in the 1990's, I was the only person in the United States writing seafood trade standards for the United States (not to be confused with health and safety laws which are handled by the FDA).

I was a high school Language Arts teacher, and a Marketing Specialist at my alma mater before that.

I always love to hear what people used to do before they started having kids and working at home!
I was a newspaper writer/editor for many years. I took my kids to work with me for four years and then I started freelance writing/editing.

Actually I am still working as project development in logistics company. This is not my favorite career, but somehow - I did not have any plan before this, so I followed someone's plan (my brother want me to help him with his business).
Although I already started my online business, but I still have target that I need to achieve from my active and passive incomes before I quit. Once I reached the target, I will stop working with my brother and concentrate with my online business. My plan is Jan 2009. So wish me good luck!
