If you plan on taking the kids to the beach this summer, here are a few tips:

1. Cover your car seats with towels so the sand doesn't get on your car seats
2. It's said you can sprinkle baby powder on ocean wet skin to help get rid of the sand when towling off
3. Rinse off suits before washing them. This keeps the sand from getting into your machine. Same with towels, rinse them and then shake them out to get the sand out before putting them in the machine

Enjoy those summer days at the beach :)

Interesting- thanks for sharing! We're at least 12 hours or so from the nearest beach though :)

Another hint that I read in a magazine is to rinse out a liquid dish detergent bottle and fill it with clean water. Keep it in the car to rinse off sandy feet before you leave.

Thank you for sharing the great tips. In Malaysia, we also have many beautiful beach. Usually we just bring bottles of water to clean our feet and rinse off sand before getting into the car.
