anyone tried traffic exchange service???

I'v joined some of the "Gurus"'s traffic exchange sites and surfed for many credits to exchange traffic~~

Also I designed a splash page:

I think this page is great, also I think my service is great too,~~

but, from the counter: I got 450 hits today, but only 2 members joined,

it's cose me 6 hours to design the splash page and 1 week to launch the site~~ but the result :(

I'll add clicktrack code on the splash page today and find out which site give me the members~~~

anyone any suguestion on the traffic exchange service????

Traffic exchanges are a waste of time in my opinion. So what if 10,000 people visit your site if no one makes a purchase. Wouldn't it be better to have one visitor who makes a purchase? I'd much rather see folks invest their time into attracting visitors with an interest in whats being offered.

maybe, this just a test, I'm testing all kind of free traffic method online, the next step is safelist~

I agree...a complete waste of time. I tried them years ago. Same for safelists. I used to use them every single day. They just are not effective anymore. JMO of course. :)

Unless safelists have changed, you're facing the same thing....so what if your name is in front of 10,000 people??? If they are only there to place their own ad or if they are only there to get links to their own site, you'll once again end up with zero sales :(

If you're only clicking to get credits, what do you think other people are doing too? Answer: The same as you. How many sales have you made promoting your business on safelists or traffic exchanges?

If you just want generic hits to your site then yes do TE's or safe list.

In fact I teach many people how to get their kids to do it for them. My daughter was 8 and had a blast doing TE's for me.

Marketing to marketers is hard (like trying to sell matches in hell). You need to optimize your target traffic & get people looking to buy through the search engines.

You can use a custom splash page that will get your face & name seen. It has helped me - but I did not even list a business on the page. I did have a small link to my blog that was it.

I've not found traffic exchanges to be worth it personally.

I'm trying to traffic exchange too, and I haven't had an opt in.

I am beginning to think it is a waste of time as well.
