Well, I love sharing my goals, because then it is just an affirmation of me saying I will do it and following through...SO...here goes:
My goal by the end of June is to go into qualifications for my next management level. I am doing this in several ways. I am offering specials, bringing on new biz builders and doing online parties.
My long term goal, is to move into one more level after this one by the end of Oct and quit my J.O.B. at that time so that I can focus on working more with my long term goal of building an apartment complex for the place I am currently working. That way I can pay them back! I work with domestic violence survivors and I want to help them.
Also...I have 2 children that will be going to college one in 5 years and one in 6, so I need to put back money for them, and I have a step son who will go to college in 8 years and our son will go to college in 11 years. So, I want to get all of that under control.
And of course, I need to pay off mine and my husbands student loans!
Plus, I want to build my family a house.
All lofty goals, but very doable if I can focus on my short term goals!
thanks for letting me post this!

Hi Tonya,
Welcome to the Goal Buddy Network! Nice to have you here. :D
With summer vacation season here...we have not been that active in this section. I think that is great....working with domestic violence survivors. You see more and more of this everyday. :(
I think it helps a lot writing your goals down in a huge group such as this. You sound like you have a great attitude! And that is what it takes to achieve your goals.
Keep us updated please. :D

Ok, so this is how the goals went...
#1...schedule 6 parties for July
#2...meet 4 new people, online or in person, that want to explore the products that Arbonne has.
#3...get one person interested in the business and talk to them about the opportunity
#4...get my team calls scheduled and train and pump up my team! They are all wonderful and I want them to succeed!!!
SO...#1...I have 3 book parties and 2 in person parties and one that is getting ready to be scheduled.
#2...I did myspace and met about 7 new people 2 of them are interested in learning about the arbonne products, and 2 are interested in the biz...(fingers crossed)
#3...I did a biz opp in Great Bend with 3 people. One is going to the UK and will be back the middle of Aug and she is interested in the biz.
#4...I did the call, but only 1 of my 3 got on the call. So...they say the best motivation for your dying team is to find a new team. SO...I am out the door and finding people who want this as bad as I do! No questions, no excuses.
NOW...this week....
I know, it's the end of the week, but...I have HUGE goals for these next 3 days.
First and foremost, when I was talking to my husband and he told me that if I hadn't moved up in management by the end of Aug, I would have to quit. SO...NOW...I have to PROVE HIM WRONG. hehe! =o)
SO, my big main huge 1 1/2 month goal is to move up to Area Manager by Aug 31st.
My short term goal for this weekend is to call one person who couldn't be at my biz opp last night and follow up with her to see where she is with doing the biz. I also am talking to 2 ladies on my team and I need to figure out if they want to hobby this biz or work it. I need to know their commitment. I also need to call a million and one people, go meet new people and I can't be scared to ask for help!! I need to ask people to host a class, try the products, and see if anyone is interested in succeeding at their goals!
SO...I'll keep ya'll updated!
Thanks again for all of your support!

Tonya,
You remind me of my sister a bit. :) She's go-getter and never settles for anything less than what she's reaching for and it's no sweat off her nose if people are wishy-washy. It's fine, they aren't ready and there are many others out there that are ready to start owning their own business.
It's sad your husband is not very supportive of your business and is giving you the threat of if you haven't reached management you have to quit is unfair. I think a home business takes at least 5 years for it to establish and grow.
I hope he realizes how hard you are working and sometimes the hard work won't pay off right away, but eventually it does somewhere down the line. Regardless, when you make it to management in August, I hope he becomes more supportive and positive. If you don't achieve it by August, but September I hope you don't quit because a business cannot be built solidly in months.
