Skill Seekers is seeking an exceptionally talented sourcer/recruiter to join our elite team. This is a rare opportunity to work at home while at the same time apprenticing with one of the leaders in quality recruitment consulting. As a telecommuting associate, you will conduct expert phone and Internet research to identify potential candidates. In addition, you will recruit and screen passive candidates for placement with our Clients.
This position requires you to work remotely from home.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Performing research to find active/passive candidates
- Cold-calling candidates and qualifying candidates
- Developing a pipeline of solid pre-qualified candidates to present to recruiters
- Following up on marketing that has been sent out to candidates
- Conducting general networking with candidates over the phone
- Attending occasional job fairs and conferences as needed
Skills/Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and background:
* At least 1 year of previous phone/internet sourcing and candidate screening experience
* Outbound and/or cold-calling experience required
* Strong negotiation skills
* Innovative thinker
* Demonstrated success as a phone sourcer generating names and developing and maintaining relationships. Ability to cold-call and elicit information
* Experience identifying potential candidates through Internet sourcing. AIRS certified or comparable expertise preferred
*Rapid data entry and data management skills in candidate tracking systems
*Demonstrated success recruiting and screening passive candidates
*Ability to produce viable candidates rapidly and work with a deadline sensibility
*Ability to communicate effectively with individual contributors as well as senior-level executives
*Ability to work independently and collaborate well with others
*Exemplary leadership and sterling reputation
*BA or BS degree a plus.
Candidates must have the following:
* Separate phone line or cell phone for use (reimbursement applicable)
* Personal computer or laptop
* High speed internet access or DSL
* Private/uninterrupted area within home in which to conduct candidate phone screening, make phone calls, etc.
