Hello all, I've had a few people review this site already and have been told the banner etc. distorts? Please could you confirm this for me before I spend another 100 hours fixing it? :(
Also:
I would appreciate all and any comments about the site. Mostly i want to know what's wrong with it! I need it to "speak" to people number one, and also would like to know if it is appealing to eye, is the content well written, is it user friendly, does it make people want to act on the offer? Our purpose is to have a hand in reducing the global population explosion of millions of unwanted/homeless puppies and kittens so we need this site to work, and work well, toward our cause.
Appreciate everyone's time and input into this.

It opened fine for me. I'm on IE7. You have some errors on the pages though. For example:
http://www.k9mums.com/page3.php - look at the "heading" What is the overall demand for Pet Care services?
Look at the line just below it. I found this type of error in a few places, even at the bottom of that same page.
http://www.k9mums.com/page6.php This page has a ton of those same errors.
Speaking of pages, you really want to name your pages something other than "page 1" "page 2" etc. Those page name are not search engine friendly at all.
Hope this helps.

It opened up fine for me in IE6. It's looking good, but Audrey had some great advice there for you.
Also there is some code showing toward the bottom of the page.

Opened fine for me in Firefox 2.0. The small banner on the right -- Unique Business Offer For Dog Lovers looks distorted to me. I think it's from the gray shadowing on the words.
I find your website a bit dull and boring and it doesn't call to action. It doesn't draw me in and make me want to stay. Maybe expand a bit where it says, K9Mums is so different! I think add some strong points to why it's different and then expand into why it's different in the main body.

Hi Audrey, thanks so much for your input. The errors you mention I don't see when I open the site (i use Firefox) but I do believe you as a few other people have said the same thing now. Best i just find a new template and start all over again. It seems to open in a mess in every browser except Firefox!

Thank you too for your input. I acknowledge that it is a bit boring. Guess I still have a lot of work to do on this thing before it really looks like it's worth anything. Your advice noted. Thanks a ton!! :)

Thanks Tam, i don't see the code in Firefox but accept it is there if you say so. As said to the others, best I just start again from scratch using a decent template. This one is simply not behaving in most browsers which is an absolute no-no!! :(

That's right you can't see the code in Firefox, but you can in IE. Sorry this is causing you so much trouble. If I knew how to fix it so it doesn't show up in IE I would let you know, but I have no idea. :(
