Where is everyone? Networking is such a powerful tool , especially for WAHM's.

I hope someone sees this post and responds.

Where do you both network? Online, offline? Social networks?

I mainly network on forums...

Hello...I am mainly networking with groups in the town that I work, but I want to do more online stuff. I do some networking on myspace, but not much. So, I'm new to the online stuff...sorta. I need to find people who want what I have to offer. I have put my name out there in a few spots, but I just don't seem to be talking to the right people, so therefore, I feel networking would be the way to go!

Tonya,

For the most part, it's women who buy makeup. However, like everything else out there, as consumers we have many choices.

My best advice for networking is to establish yourself as an expert in your field. Be consistent, whether it be on message boards, article writing etc. As others begin to trust you as dependable and knowledgable, orders will come.

Thanks for the input, but in all actuality, Arbonne is much more than make up. It's health and wellness. I should know because I barely wear make up. So, the other items are all safe for people and they are botanically based and give wonderful results.

I guess getting into this forum thing I have done in the past, but it was for mystery shopping and like you said, once you do it for awhile, you get to know people and begin to trust them. I know several schedulers who would call me to do assignments because they knew I would do it when it was due, and I just need to build up that integrity on here as well. SO, I am good with that!

I hope to get to know you all, on a personal level. I love people and have many friends I have found online! I actually even found my hubby online! :)

Anyway, thanks for the tips!! ;)

Sandy,

Stop on by the introduction folder and introduce yourself. Then jump on in.

Thank you for this thread...
I joined forum to make my online network broader. I rarely found off line friends who have the same interest as mine. I planned to open online business as silver jewelry retailer and how am I suppose to show that I am expert in this field? Its my other business beside my interest in personal improvement things.

And how am I find the network within this jewelry business? Should I joined the women who have the interest in accessories (they might be my competitors)?
