Virtual help wanted for small marketing agency and associated ecommerce stores
Primary activities:
1. Keeping things organized and on schedule
2. Order processing- confirm inventory, communicate with customer (usually email)
3. Assisting with activities related to marketing
Schedule is completely flexible, however I prefer to have phone contact available 9-5 daily, or advance notice of dates when communications will not be possible, in order to properly plan at the office.
Office support - Accountable for project management, vendor management, customer communications, order processing, and daily office operations, Customer retention, improving efficiency , measuring performance of deliverables (ie on time, on budget etc), and supporting and reporting to the COO.
Send Email blasts, research new tools, organize office filing, organize computer filing, maintain customer and prospect databases, schedule follow-ups in database, data merge letters & labels, print letters, put on stamps, mail. Ensure customer contact goals are met, track answers-
Ongoing project: creating documented systems for all processes, testing & using the processes.
Skills needed:
Typing - error free is a must
expert: MS Word
proficient – Software- Excel (create basic formulas, spreadsheets, import/export for data merge), Outlook
Fast typing, self starter, good phone skills
Bonus - would like- Software -Dreamweaver, Illustrator/Photoshop CS, PDF creator, forms creation, quickbooks
* Location: virtual * Compensation: hourly
* This is a part-time contract job. Could grow to full time permanent.
equipment needed: must have recent model computer, high speed internet connection. Mostly work from your home.
