Nielsen IAG is looking for bright and energetic Writers to view primetime network and cable TV shows and write online surveys that will measure the effectiveness of any product placements that occurred during these programs, as well as overall viewer engagement.
Before applying, please consider if long evening hours (often ending at around midnight and perhaps later) are something to which you can commit. Because Nielsen IAG production takes place seven days a week, six weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) evenings will be required each month. This is part-time evening work, under demanding deadlines. You must have access to Internet, as well as cable television, at home. However, the majority of your work will occur on site (no telecommuting is possible).
Job Qualifications:
Nielsen IAG editorial style is rigid yet evolving, so we expect our writers to have the ability to deal professionally with constructive criticism. Strong writing skills and attention to detail is required, along with a background and/or interest in television advertising and media research. Due to our expanding coverage into Spanish-language television (specifically the Univision and Telemundo cable channels), we are primarily seeking bilingual writers who are proficient enough to watch Spanish-language and English-language programming and that can produce surveys in both languages that meet our overall methodological rules.
Please visit our website, www.iagr.net, for more information and a further understanding of what we do.
To apply for this opportunity, please submit cover letter and resume via our online Writers (Bilingual - Spanish/English) application.
