Integrated communications agency in Santa Monica is currently in search of a freelance Proofreader. This individual primarily will be responsible for proofreading all categories of documents, including marketing proposals and memos, print ads and posters and Web copy. We would need someone to follow up on all aspects of copy – correct phone numbers/company names/contact information along with spelling, grammar and usage.
This position may work remotely or in office on a freelance basis. If working from home, must have a fax machine (preferably a scanner) to transmit original documents and images.
Requirements:
Computer literate on MAC highly preferred
Prior proofreading or editing experience
Ability to meet required deadlines is a must
Must have a Bachelor’s degree
