Last June, hundreds of motorcycles roared into Louisville for a four-day Harley Owner's Group rally.
Behind the event planning was an unlikely team of seven women — each business owners, most of whom work from home.
But when a job calls for it, these women become The Hive: A group of meeting planning professionals who have now grown to eight and tackle jobs together to compete with big fish in the market.
It started 21/2 years ago when Barbara O'Bryan Grosso, former president of a production company, left her job to work at home.
