We are a medium sized telephone company looking for someone who wants to work from home to answer overflow calls.
Person will learn about our company, what we do, and answer basic pricing questions for customers, and open a trouble ticket for a customer with an issue.
Absolute requirements:
* Must be professional on the phone
* Must have some experience in doing some sort of customer service
* Must have a very quiet place to work; customers should not hear any noise
* Must have high speed Internet OR be in a location where high speed Internet is available. Having ability to have two phone lines would work too.
* Must be able to work alone
* Must never be late
* Basic computer knowledge
* Learns fairly quickly
* Must be able to work 9am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
You will be paid $280 per week cash/check deposit. Tuition reimbursement OR health benefits available for those who qualify.
Job will entail answering customer's basic questions about service and opening service trouble tickets for customers with issues. Some days this may be twenty calls a day, some days it will be one call a day. Times when you are not working, you are reading about our company, learning about what we do, etc.
There may be a lot of 'downtime' with this opportunity. Play music and just hang out and wait for calls.
The biggest thing with this opportunity is reliability. You cannot miss calls. Background must be silent. The system will periodically dial you to see if you are there.
