Finally, a date night...

After months and months of no alone time (seems like eternity), hubby and I are going to The Improv for a comedy show tonight. It's usually hard for us to find a babysitter (daycare has a Parent's Night Out once a month, 40 bucks, geez), but our friends were available this weekend. Now, the dinner show was already sold out so we are going to the late show, 10:30 pm, hope I can stay up that late.:zrazz:

What do you guys usually do on "date night"? How often do you get time away? We usually go to comedy shows, the movies, dinner, or stage plays and I try my best to get in one evening a month...

Sam and I have date nights 2 times a week but then again, we are empty nesters. When we did have a small child at home we had date nights atleast twice a week...even if those "date nights" were at home when she went to bed. We always took time out for ourselves.

John and I rarely get out. I consider grocery shopping with him AND all the kids a date :)
