Fundraising

Whenever you see a group holding a car wash, bake sale etc, make sure you give them your own fundraising information. This is a group that needs/will work for funds.

My daughter's senior class was raising money for their senior trip. They contacted the local avon lady and asked if they could get a percentage of her profit if they sold for her. It was a two week avon blitz here in town--and they brought in record sales for the avon lady--and good profit for them too. Plus it opened new doors for the avon lady to contact later.

Interesting...I never thought of that before. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work with my line of business, but it sounds like a great way for people to bond together to raise funds.
