I was wondering if anyone has used Google AdWords and have you had any success with it?

I have not. However a gal in my group has used Google adwords for years and does incredibly well with them.

Hi Diane,
I was wondering if you ever followed up on this and how it's working out for you?
I signed up to participate but had some conflicts with my website, therefore it is going to be delayed for a bit until I can create a new website on different software.
I've read some very valuable information on adwords. If you're interested, I can provide you the link. People can make pretty nice careers out of it, especially if you're a good writer. There's a decent amount of work involved but I'm sure we all know, nothing in life is free!
I'm too cheap to use adwords and prefer to get my traffic from organic SEO...
But my husband is a genius with adwords and works wonders for our clients. So I've been considering a budget with FreelanceMom and see if it makes much of an impact.
I don't sell a product, so it would be more difficult to track conversions. I might use the newsletter opt-in as a conversion point.
I do know that the more traffic I get, it makes a significant difference to my adsense earnings so it might be well worth the effort.

Thank you for the response Lori. I'm such a dork! I must have been pulling an "all nighter" on the computer when I wrote that. I was totally referring to adsense, not adwords! Sorry about that and thank you for the insight.

Dawn,
I confuse the two all the time too! :zrazz:
I actually have to look them up.
