A small company providing bookkeeping and accounting services for small businesses is seeking part-time persons for bookkeeping jobs.
• You may work in your home, but you will need to come to our office at least once a week to pick up and drop off materials, as well as for orientation, reporting, and consultation. You may do this job in the evening and on the weekend, but you will need to come to our office on weekdays during working hours, preferably in the morning. We cannot meet you in the evening or on the weekend.
• We would prefer candidates living close to Downtown Kent, WA.
• We use QuickBooks, and you need to have advanced level of experience in QuickBooks and accounting. We do not have time for offering basic training. However, on the job, you will receive help with the intricacies of QuickBooks beyond the basics to help you do your job.
• You will need high-speed Internet connection and a good computer with Windows XP in your home. You also need to have your copy of QuickBooks. There is no upfront fee to get this job.
• It is very important that you will need to be proactive in this position. You are expected to initiate and maintain constant contact with our office. It comes out of the nature of our service that we must know what you are doing and how you are progressing in your job.
• The pay is by the job, and not by the hours. People with extensive experience in this field find our compensation policy very generous.
• Do not consider this as a job where you walk in, work certain hours for certain wages, and then you go home and forget about it. You need to consider this as your business enterprise.
