Our small but growing firm is seeking academic editors, proofreaders, and formatters for work-at-home editing jobs paid on a per-page basis. Editors For Students provides academic editing, proofreading, and formatting services to students writing papers, theses, and dissertations. We maintain positive relationships with numerous universities and advisors both in the U.S. and abroad and do not provide writing or substantive editing services.

We're looking for detail-oriented editors with the following qualifications:
-A willingness to work from home on a per-project basis.
-Interest in making supplemental income at the outset with room for growth later.
-At least one year of professional editing experience (either freelance or in house) in an environment with a house style or three years of experience in a prescriptive grammar-related field, such as tutoring or teaching college-level English.
-A knowledge of one of the following styles: APA, MLA, or Chicago.
-Self-motivation to learn and ability to flexibly correct one's errors, especially those related to academic styles.
-Good knowledge of basic Word functions.
-Orientation to detail, especially when it comes to proofreading one’s own
editing.
