Customer Service Representative -- Denver Area, Work from Home

We are currently seeking one Customer Service Representative to handle customer issues for our rapidly growing and exciting e-commerce company.

- Work from home
- Start with 4 hours/day, ability to move to full-time within three months

The position involves:
- Fielding phone calls and e-mail requests for service from customers across the US
- Researching problem root causes, which involves calling and e-mailing our distribution partners
- Responding with resolutions on a timely basis, then calling or e-mailing customers promptly
- Outbound calling customers to proactively survey current customers and recover lapsed customers
- Ability to travel to one to two meetings out of home per week (with Manager, located in DTC area)

The position requires the following skills:
- Dedication, professionalism, conscientiousness, persistence and an ability to follow standard procedures consistently
- Friendly, courteous demeanor and a pleasant speaking voice
- Strong communication skills, include ability to write complete, coherent and meaningful e-mail responses to customer queries
- Accurate record keeping abilities
- Regular hours -- 8:00 AM until noon, until full-time, then 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM
- Strong computer literacy with websites, Excel, Word and e-mail

Candidate must have their own phone, mobile phone, late model computer and high-speed internet access. Phone plans should include free long distance.

Ideal position for stay-at-home parent (although quiet area is needed to make phone calls), college seniors (position will lead to full-time by summer), disabled persons and any others who prefer to work from home most days.

Compensation is on a consulting basis, $10 - $15/hour to start, depending upon experience and references.
