This is an estimated 1+ year contract position through Volt Technical & Creative Communication - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Bothell, Washington. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.
Requirements:
Required Skills for this InfoSite Writer/Editor position include the following:
At least three years of editorial experience, preferably with e-commerce content development
Excellent writing, spelling, and grammar skills, with strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-direction, and drive
Excellent quality-control ability and organizational abilities
Proven ability to resolve a high volume of work in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required
Journalism, English, or related degree preferred
Hotel-industry experience a plus
They must be responsible, responsive, and able to work from home, on PC machines running Windows XP (no Macs, no Vista) and have high-speed internet access.
