Vent: Post, Article & Biz Oppty Ad Stealers!!!!

Ugh!

I am so freaking tired of this! For about a year now, folks are running around stealing my message board posts, my articles, my biz checklists and my business oppty ads!

They remove off my website addy and my name and insert theirs and make the Ads, Posts, Articles, Etc their own!

I am so fed up with thiefs! What is up with all of this?

Don't they realize that there are laws for this? It is indeed copyright infringement!

I have now started reporting these folks to website owners, corporation HQ's etc and I have been speaking out against it. I do have a LOUD ROAR and will ROAR when necessary.

That is my vent for the day! Folks, if you are stealing other peoples posts, biz oppty ads, articles etc...stop it! Get creative yourself!

I really feel for you on this. I have seen your posts get stolen and posted elsewhere with no name attached to it and all the while the person posting it is getting all the credit for it. Stuff like this irks me to no end. It's same when people post only a portion of something and claim it's their own...no matter how you look at it, it's still copyright infringement.

I had something similar happen to me years ago...there were some people who stole my ad copy and put their own referral link at the end and one incident last year. A web designer (if he calls himself that) stole a portion of my homepage's introduction so his clients could get approved for Google Adsense. (Yeah, he told me that!)

Rightfully so they should be reported because it's the scummiest thing anyone can do! Karma is a *itch and they will get theirs.

Sorry it has happened to you too.

It is just a shame that we need to keep an eye out for unprofessional people who do this sort of behavior. I am going after this newest one and have already reported her to her upline for it. I have requested she remove it within 48 hours or I will contact my attorney. I am fortunate that my neice is a corp. biz attorney and can handle my biz legal matters for me.

I would never ever steal someone elses work. I just don't understand these folks!

Keep us updated on how this goes. Some people just don't get it and they don't even feel bad because if they did, they wouldn't do it in the first place! Such idiots!

You are right about all of this--and I'm glad you have a "family lawyer" to put the pressure on. The up-side of all this is--you must have some really good ideas and material or they wouldn't be stealing them! Make them stop--but be encouraged!

Well I have great news! The person who ripped off my biz oppty ad removed it from the site she had it on. I reported her to TW and to her upline and its now down and she has her "own" biz ad up there now.
