Hospice On Call, Inc. (www.hospiceoncall.com), an innovator in quality, RN-staffed telephone triage care for the hospice industry is seeking RNs to fill full-time Tele-Triage Nurse positions.
Responsibilities include answering incoming calls from patients, families and caregivers from multiple hospices, resolving their concerns, coordinating appropriate patient care, and documenting each incident. You will be in frequent communication with hospice administrators, RNs, MDs, MSWs, DMEs, and other hospice staff.
Work out of your home. This position has the challenges and rewards of direct patient/caregiver contact without the constant travel and physical demands of typical homecare nursing.
These positions require:
* RN with hospice, tele-triage skills.
* Outstanding communication and listening skills.
* Knowledge of general hospice protocols and procedures.
* High level organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Basic computer skills using MS Word, MS Excel and web browsing.
* A HIPAA compliant home office environment.
* A high speed internet connection.
* An up to date PC with Windows XP, MS Office.
* 2 weekend days per month
