1. Native Speaker with good English skills (both written and spoken)
2. Responsible for testing localised products for full functionality within
agreed schedules and to the highest quality standards.
3. Software Quality Assurance: experience configuring and testing software
applications/installing drivers/ imaging devices/mobile handsets.
4. Platforms/Operating Systems: experience working with, configuring, and
administering various operating systems, primary focused on Windows
Operating Systems.
5. Hardware: Must have a good level of technical computer experience. The
candidate must be PC aware and understand the process to install an OS.
6. Software: Must be familiar with the use of Word and Excel for reporting needs.
7. Problem Solving: Must have excellent problem solving/troubleshooting
skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and
resolve root causes, this applies to both technical issues and process issues.
Responsibilities:
•Test product for full functionality in accordance with corporate and
industry standards and testscripts provided
•Analyse, report and follow up on all defects found. Regress all assigned
bugs (when required)
•Provide accurate and timely daily status reports to the Lionbridge
Representative
•Provide accurate Time Sheet reports and expense reports (when required)
•Should blocking issues occur contact the Lionbridge Representative in a
timely fashion to reduce time wasting
•Must be flexible and willing to travel to various locations in country at
short notice
