Okay, my kids are immediately spending the money they earn. So, I've started to collect some books to try and fill in for our public schools.
This one looks good. Anybody use this with their kids:

Rich Kid, Smart Kid is a great book. I read the book with both kids.
I haven't really begun thinking about this myself. Orion is 16 -- but he hasn't had a job yet. We live in the country and haven't really been pushing him to get one because it means lots of driving for us!
Soon though...

Penny,
Did you already spend the $7 on the download? I never support buying from unknown authors. That page, we have no idea who wrote the "report", when it was written etc.
Again...if you're looking for a good book, try Rich Kid, Smart Kid. It might even be available at the public library. It's a true book, by a well known author, a publisher etc.

Lori,
I've just checked out rich kid, smart kid as Audrey had recommended. Add to that Cash Smart Kids (see my initial post).
If you boy is 16, I would recommend a crash course in money management, now. Even if he doesn't have a job. ..He'll be out on his own in no time at all. Is he planning on college?
Good luck.
