Food Allergies

On Tuesday, I discovered that my 13 month old son is allergic to nuts. We spent a few hours in the emergency room, and I have been cleaning out my cupboards ever since.
My three year old daughter is allergic to milk. I am allergic too milk also, so finding out that she shared that allergy was no big deal.
His nut allergy is considered life threatening, so it has me spooked. I am trolling the web, have library books requested, and am trying to find information about this new part of our life.
Any other former nut-lovers turned nut-haters out there?:crybaby:

What a total bummer! I'm so sorry to hear about your plight.

I don't have a similar issue -- but I know there must be some great resources out there.

About.com (http://foodallergies.about.com/od/nutallergies/p/peanutallergies.htm) looks like they have a good guide for this subject... and a forum which might be helpful.
