Education Sales Consultants at The Carolina Call Center are responsible for speaking with customers, building rapport and explaining our assessment testing process for Sylvan Learning Centers. They are responsible for meeting predefined sales conversion rates and scheduling students for assessment testing at the appropriate Learning Center. They deliver seamless and exemplary service to internal and external customers at all times.

As a successful Education Sales Consultant, you will:

Receive incoming "inquiry" phone calls and provide accurate information regarding the assessment testing process.

Ask and answer questions to determine the testing needs of the student and make an appropriate recommendation.

Make outgoing follow-up calls to customers who have called in the past and have not taken the assessment test.

Review potential schedule opportunities and find a time that works for both the customer and the Learning Center.

Convert a predefined number of customers to book an assessment and to show for the assessment.

Record via the system accurate information obtained during the phone call.

Work a set shift, with ability to be flexible, to cover the hour of operations in the contact center.

We prefer:
- 2+ years customer sales experience
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Sales driven professionals
- Detail orientation and strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work 8:30-5:30, 9:00am-12:00pm, 12:00pm-3:00pm, or 3:00pm-6:30pm with one Saturday per month.

We prefer:
- A Bachelor’s degree and/or experience in the education field.
- Ability to work second shift or weekends when applicable.
- A Home Office complete with High Speed Intenet and a reliable PC in order to telecommute.
