Blogging is a great way to promote your business. You can post images, articles, videos and even upload your banners. Blogs are also read by many more poeple who might not otherwise read a business website. There are companies that allow you to create free blog. One is at www.blogger.com

Yes I agree it can become addictive. But it almost stops the writers block!

I agree that Wordpress is a great tool. The benefit with Wordpress is that if you are website savvy, you can incorporate it into your existing website design. I'm actually in the process of setting up a Wordpress blog on my website right now. I'm interested to see how affective it will be :-)

Keep in mind Wordpress.com doesn't allow advertisements; Blogger.com does. If you have your own domain name and hosting then you can use Wordpress.org and do whatever you want.
