My client is currently looking for someone to fill a new position in his company. It’s a part-time position that will require between 10-20 hours per week, half of which will need to be during regular business hours. The other half can be just about whenever.

The position will work with new & existing customers to develop and/or improve their websites. For example, if a customer wants some enhancements to their website, this person will work with the customer to develop a “spec sheet” outlining the details of the enhancements. They will then work with the programmers in my client’s company to make sure all the enhancements are done.

The position requires someone to have above average computer skills, particularly when it comes to the Internet and managing websites. Ideally you would have some programming experience.

You will be able to work from home and – since my client likes to hire stay-at-home-moms – there really isn’t a problem if you have some “background noise” every once in awhile. As he says, “if they have a problem with our company hiring stay-at-home-moms, I don’t want them as a customer.”

Just so there are no surprises, my client’s company provides consulting and software products for Republican campaigns.

Lori,
I am new to the forum and am interested in this opportunity. Where do I post a resume and find out more about the position?

I am a homeschooling Mom with two boys aged 9 and 14. When I left the work force several years ago, I was a Purchasing agent of a defense contractor. At the company, The MIS department often referred Systems design work to me because I understood both the language of the Users and the programmers. My husband is a programmer, so if backup is required he is available.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Vickie
