I started my first home business in January, so my goals at this point are pretty small compared to some, but are my goals nonetheless.

1. Host 2 Home Shows a month.
2. Host 3 Catalog Shows a month.
3. Host 4 E-shows a month.
4. Attract attention to my website.
5. Attract sales to my website.
6. Make money with no losses.

Thank you to all who have read my goals. As you may see, I plan to focus more on e-shows than home or catalog shows. If any of you are interested in earning free books for your family, please e-mail me or send me a message. It would really help me out, and I will get you as many free books as I possibly can. e-shows are great. I know I prefer them :) but packing to move I can't stuff in one more book! I will keep you in mind when we get moved though!

My second home show is this Saturday. My mom is hosting it for me. I am excited and nervous because she invited 15 people. I know they won't all be there, but there will be more than my first show. Public speaking is not my thing, but I am hoping this business helps me get over that.

February ended great! This is my second month with Usborne. I hosted two home shows and one catalog sale. I also got my first recruit, and one direct sale. I have only put a few hours into this, and I have made about $200 and earned another few hundred in free books. I guess I could make a lot of money doing this if I wanted to do a lot of home shows.

I am almost done with my incentive period, and I have no more home shows booked. I have one catalog show in progress, which will close soon.

Overall, I am very pleased. I will keep you all updated. Thanks for the encouragement and support.

I just received my rewards because I am in my incentive. For recruiting my first person, I got to choose $50 in books for $2 and for reaching the first level of sales, I got to choose $50 in books for $10. My kit is huge now, and doesn't fit in my suitcase on wheels. I am need to have a book fair or something to sell off some of my newly acquired inventory, or I am going to need to buy another bookshelf for our house. Good problems to have though. :D

The only thing that is not going great is my e-shows. My aunt hosted a catalog/e-show combo, and her catalog show went ok, but the e-show had $0 in sales. My website has not make any money yet. Any advice?
