OK, I'm going to chalk this up to just feeling yucky with a really bad head cold but .......

I really dislike it when I go to a message forum and see that 99.99999% of the posts made since the last time I visited are ADS!

My goodness - doesn't anyone join the forums for the interaction, sharing, learning and relationship building anymore???

Or, when they start talking- pretending to be interested in YOUR business- and end up sending e-mail soliciting their business!

I so wish I could be here more. I try to come twice a day and delete all the spam.

Some of the spam is bots...not even humans. And some is humans who only want to make the sale...they are not interested in chatting, sharing, learning etc.

My goodness - I wasn't referring to this site at all!! This site it great and the ads are very limited.

I didn't want to give the forum name because it is very popular and I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings there. I visited there just before coming here and there had to be about 25 messages and 20 of them were ads. They were in the correct "Ads" section, too.

I just find it a real turnoff to click on "see new messages" only to find that most of them have been posted in the ads section.

Phew....I do vent to Lori occasionally that I hate the spam. Really, one spam is just too much for me LOL.

But seriously - the spam here is out of control too. I've been spending at least a half hour daily just banning ip's from the server. It's nuts! :shock:

I really don't get this at all. Do the people or bots honestly think we are reading these? I hate seeing the spam on forums. A lot of times I won't go back to a forum that is just clogged with it.

I love that here the ones you see are gone poof so fast, if you see them at all! Great job girls!

I agree, I was just in another forum that I belong to and there are ads everywhere.

You girls do a great job keeping this on ad free. I havent seen any ads on here since I have been a member.
