Innovative and growing women’s health site is seeking board moderators to develop strong relationships with members and create a comforting, but thought-provoking experience for our visitors.
We have two full-time and one part-time shifts available.
The positions require:
- Monitoring boards and responding to and removing inappropriate content;
- Writing a daily online blog
- Choosing and communicating the most compelling posts for promotion on site index pages
- Approving and welcoming new members
- Assisting and responding to visitor questions in a reasonable turnaround time
In addition, moderators will be required to lead lively and engaging online discussions on a daily basis by asking questions and posting compelling and thoughtful health-related topics to the boards.
The ideal candidate will have experience using board-moderation software, some board moderation experience and an awareness of the unique legal issues associated with monitoring health discussion boards.
Applicants will be able to work from home using their own high-speed Internet connection. Early morning, weekend and night work required depending on shift.
