I am looking for an individual to assist me in expanding the content at VariousTypes.com (http://www.varioustypes.com). The website is designed to serve as a quick reference and educational tool about the essential differences and purposes of various items.

I do computer programming as a hobby and have a non-related full time job. I set up this site with the idea that I would be making regular entries myself, but I have found I don't really have the interest to do all that much on the research side.

I am looking for a researcher with access to encyclopedias, libraries, and other reference sources, including the Internet, to generate simple descriptions of items in a wide range of categories. The categories involved can be chosen by the researcher, with my approval, to match her or his own interests. The researcher I am seeking truly enjoys learning and analytical thinking, putting things into categories and determining their essential differences, is proficient in the English language, and has the discipline to make regular small contributions.

All that would be required are the contribution of a few new categories per week to the site. This is not intended to be heavy duty or stressful work, but rather something to do on the side when a few spare minutes come up during the day.

Payment will be based in some form on performance of the site and the amount of advertising revenue generated. I would be willing to discuss a small flat fee up front to get our working relationship started.

While I believe the site has great potential to generate more revenue the further it is expanded, there is no guarantee of income. And it will take time for work on the site to translate into earnings. What I am ultimately looking for is a partner with a desire to do regular research and writing to oversee the content side of the website operation while I oversee the programming side of the operation, who is willing to share the investment of time and seek the reward of revenue along with me. I'd like to see what VariousTypes.com (http://www.varioustypes.com) can accomplish when we work together.

I welcome requests for clarification within this thread, and inquiries from interested individuals via the contact page at VariousTypes.com (http://www.varioustypes.com). Please be sure to include your email address in the contact form.
