Do you cry easily? When my feelings are hurt, I'll feel my eyes well up. When I watch a sad movie, I feel my eyes well up. What about you?

Oh my feelings get hurt, but I don't "cry". As I said, sometimes my eyes do well up.

Well I guess I'm just a big baby! I seem to cry at everything anymore. When I get angry and am letting whoever have it ......I cry. Does anyone else have that problem?

Kathy Jo,

I don't, but it means you are sensitive and sensitive is such a wonderful quality.

I don't cry all that easy but I do feel my eyes well up for various reasons. I tend to be able to control it.

But believe me when I WANT to turn on the tears they come in full force....LOL

I think how women well up is all about getting married. Before I got married a few months ago, i only got teary at a REALLY sad movie, but now, it seems like everything. Sad movies, happy movies, a billboard. Don't get me wrong...its not real crying, just wetness in my eyes for ... 5 seconds.

I am a sensitive person and I guess I where my heart on my sleeve so to speak. I know when I was younger and I would get a good talking to and that is all, the tears would come. I know when I get too overwhelmed or angry, my feelings and all come out through crying.

I cry over commercials. And tonight I have discovered that my 6 year old son is taking after me. He cried at the end of the movie 'Holes". I cry over everything. I teared up when my Hubby told me that the guy he was rooming with in Iraq, had adopted a baby after trying for soo long to have a baby. He was coming home to the best Christmas gift ever. Makes me tear up just writing this. It can be a pain though too. Being so sensitive, I often take things VERY personally.

Janelle,

There are times I can be overly sensitive. I hear a story like the adoption and I absolutely get tears in my eyes.

I'm the emotional type, so I tend to cry often. I used to hate that part of myself. My Aunt and cousin are the same way. My cousin and I have always considered it "bad genes" passed down to us. But over the years I have learned to grow very fond of being able to feel emotion with such great intensity. I've learned to take the bad with the good. I wouldn't get to feel such depths of excitement and happiness over the little things if I wasn't this way. A difficult aspect of being this way is it's not an easy characteristic for a lot of men to understand and/or deal with! Dennis has learned to cope. :smitten:

Fortunately as I get older though, I am crying less and have a little more rationality.Think it was high levels of estrogen all this time??? LOL

I remember I always use to tease my mom for crying about stuff. Whenever a sad part in a movie or show or even commercial would come on my sister and I would look at her and pretend to bawl (so cruel). But what goes around comes around and now I'm exactly the same way and I'm sure when my girls are a little bit bigger I'll be receiving my own fare share of pretend bawling.

I do not cry easily at all....just not like that but with that being said, if its something major upsetting or something, then yes, I will cry.

I am an emotional type of person.. That's why I always cry.. Big or small sad thing, I cry.. Even when I'm angry and when someone is mad at me.. Oh shame..

Yes. In fact, my husband teases me and says I should become a professional "wedding cryer" since I can't sit through ANY wedding without needing a tissue. Heck, I even cry during commercials if they're sad or touching. :p
