When you're upset what do you do? Do you go for a walk? Do you make a huge meal? Do you just lock the door and cry? What do you do?

Hot tea -- maybe a bath. :)

I will talk about it or I'll write about it....or chat with my buddy Jen about it...hey Shelly is she in here? I used to share my thoughts with my best friend but we don't talk anymore...I do have another friend and she and I talk a lot.

I usually call my best friend to vent. There's a reason we have been friends for 30 years.

I usually do some shouting, then get alone..usually go for a walk and cry and that usually gets me over it. if i don't have time to deal with the problem and it continues to bother me as I'm doing other things I'll just feel bad, lose my appetite, and get really quiet.

Usually a good cry will do the trick. However, walking is great too.

Cry, eat, bang something, eat some more, eat some more, cry, kick something ....

There are a lot of things I do...

a. drive alone to a park (most likely at night) and just think

b. get two eggs, one for each hand and squeeze them

c. face down on the pillow and yell

d. lock myself up in a room

e. all of the above <----that gets tiring though!

Do the eggs break?

Just curious! :bugeye:

I am learning to be still and wait out the storm, per se.

If the tornados are still tossing me to-and-fro, I will talk with my wife who has an uncanny ability to help me through with encouragement (not always what I want to hear; tough love can be tough), comfort, and strengthening words and actions.

I've been troubled by something lately. I've found that talking it through with others has helped me see some other angels and make some new decisions.
