I sincerely recommend that you go to (edited out) and sign up for the free newsletters and take a good look around the site. I am just fairly new to online business (still in the researching phase, although I do have some domains registered).
Anyhow, I felt exactly like you; there is just so much out there being offered, so many new terms etc. When I came across (edited out) I seriously felt like I had found the library I was looking for. The information starts very basically and takes things step by step, so that you can understand what each term means, how programs like ppc and affiliate work. There are even very friendly and informative web videos you can watch. I have learned so much in a few days that I am now off getting my website developed.
