Work from home, virtual office infrastructure.
Assist a range of small and midsize company clients to maintain IT networks remotely, using state-of-the-art technology including rules-based diagnostics and virtual office connections. Work extensively via phone with client's IT staff to provide comprehensive outsourced services. Crucial fields of in-depth knowledge include Exchange-based email, Active Directory, protection, network monitoring, and network infrastructure. The Expert Remote Service Specialist will resolve software problems such as PC program integration issues, server problems, data access issues, and Internet connection problems, without onsite access, if the customer infrastructure allows.
Reports to:

Cooperates Extensively with:
Client Support, Business Development Managers and other engineers
Outside Associations:
Clients, technology resources, and manufacturers/publishers
Service and repair Microsoft Windows 2K, 2003, and Vista based information networks. Operate online to diagnose and resolve both emergency and lingering problems concerned with uptime, protection, performance, connectivity, and general efficiency. Excellent empathy and telephony-based communications skills.
Install and integrate Microsoft Windows-based program servers and Microsoft .NET hosts. Configure and integrate Microsoft Windows 2K, 2003, Vista and Microsoft Windows XP workstation systems. Install and analyze various information services and applications.
Design and deploy IT infrastructures and protection strategies to support customer's business plans.
Support and administer Outlook with back-end Exchange host, Microsoft Office suite, telecom, and broadband Internet access.
Plan and implement upgrades to Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Windows Exchange Server.
Optimize network availability and performance by means of fault-tolerant design, efficient network infrastructure, and proactive network monitoring.
Create on-going records of the environment as it changes.
Spec out and order updated server and communications hardware and/or software to promote client's business success and to host additional applications.
Required Work Background
Seven years background in workstation and server administration new program integration, hardware setup, problem identification and repair).
Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic capability, ability to implement quick resolutions to integration problems.
Experience in business program help (Windows family products).
Experience in a range of client infrastructures.
Familiarity with remote server monitoring utilities and offsite troubleshooting methodologies.
Proven talent to operate efficiently in a virtual office infrastructure, providing reliable follow-through and utilizing remote connectivity and mobile access technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication ability.
Accustomed to operating in a team project.
Demonstrated dedication and commitment to providing continuous operations.
Works independently and shows strong sense of ownership and initiative
