Our work is to support foodservice suppliers in optimizing their sales & marketing strategies by collecting, managing & analyzing information and data from the 'Away-from-Home' market. For ten years, CHD Expert Group has led the industry in Europe. Now we are recognized as the industry’s global leader and hold, in our Foodservice Industry National Database (FIND), four million records across Europe and North America. Our Foodservice Annual Customer Tracking Survey (FACTS) provides insights of operators usage and attitudes.

Collecting high-quality data is very difficult in the Away-from-Home market.
We meticulously collect, research, collate and manage millions of records.
The painstaking efforts aimed at accuracy are often impractical and too expensive for individual companies to undertake. Yet, using the CHD approach, our customers’ sales and marketing teams can mine the FIND rich data source.
We offer one-stop shopping for marketing programs using the data we collected.
Data only becomes useful when it is applied to our customers’ goals. We appreciate their need to “act on the data.” Our process affords consistency and efficiency every step of the way.
For the U.S. market, CHD Expert partnered with Technomic (www.technomic.com) the leading market research company in the foodservice industry for over 40 years.
We are currently seeking a Database Assistant to help drive our US and Canadian databases growth and quality. The Database Expert will be based in our downtown Chicago office but can work from your own home office.
With initial in-office training, part-time work from home is available to those with Data Entry experience. Candidate must have a high functioning home office with home computer and two (2) monitors. Occasional in-office meetings/trainings will take place.
The Database Assistant will provide data and technology assistance, with a assistance in maintaining and developing the CHD Expert databases in North America (1.4 million records).
The Database Assistant:
• Input of Data and quality control
• Maintains accurate and complete information in FIND
• Identify the sources to update the data on a regular bases (new openings, closings, information append from websites or printed guides, …)
• Ability to work 15-20 hours a week (a minimum of 15 hours a week)
• Ambitious, adaptable, professional and hard working
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills
• Attention to detail a must
• Proficiency with using the internet as a research tool
• Experience and an interest in the foodservice industry a plus
• Data entry and 10 key skills a plus
• Minimum three (3) work and/or academic references
• Strong understanding of food, beverage & restaurant classifications and types
No Benefits are available. This is hourly project work only. $12.00 per hour.
