Yes, there is. I am starting up my own at-home business with Melaleuca. I would like to know how I go about advertising it on this website. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to get it up and running while being the family caretaker. Thank you. :-) Wayne
P.S. I am trying to gain customers from this website and other websites as well.
Hi Wayne,
Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I'm assuming that you mean free advertisments?
Paid ads on FreelanceMom are here: http://www.freelancemom.com/adspace.htm
On the forum -- my advice is to actively participate in conversations here, and include a signature on your posts with your business ad and a link to your site.
What many people do with little effect is post numerous ads. Nobody really likes to read ads. However, if they ask a question and someone had a helpful answer, or they get to know you -- they may well be inclined to click over to your website and learn more about what you're doing.
That's truly my best advice for forum advertising. Be an active participant.
I have some posts on my blog that may also help you:

I hope that is helpful Wayne, we look forward to getting to know you!

Hey Lori,
Hope you had a wonderful holiday. We just returned from a few days away at my folks house.
Wayne,
Relationships are key. Folks buy from those they know. I get emails all of the time that say "I found you ______" and that starts their customer relationship with me.
Subscribe to Lori's newsletter. She does an awesome job. Subscribe to her blow and read her posts.

I just learned that toadd a signature when i send emails I click on Insert. Then I click on Signature. But how do I do that here? I need someone to teach me. Either Lori and/or Audrey. Thank you. Wayne :-)

Wayne,
To add your signature, go up to the "User CP" and click. You can add a signature there.
